The abstract colour and a horrizon line is in the service to the classical landscape but is combined with layered urban decay. This piece is intended as a contemporay take on Whistler's famous Nocturne series with its melancholy being derived from the quiet river alongside its sleeping docks, wharves against the heavy machinery of the industrial age.
